MESA - Airline stocks poised for big day after execs highlight bookings strength
The positive demand updates keep pouring in from the airline industry with execs on the conference circuit this week. Delta Air Lines (DAL) stated at a Wolf Research conference that forward bookings in the leisure segment are above 2019 levels United Airlines (UAL) pointed to an acceleration in bookings and forecast that it will be positive EBITDA in June. Perhaps the most riveting update of all came from American Airlines Group (AAL), with the carrier saying it is seeing more signs of business travel this year. In premarket action, American is up 1.78% and Delta is 2.71% higher.
