- Aker Carbon Capture ( OTCPK:AKCCF ) has promoted current CFO Egil Fagerland as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective today.
- Fagerland to succeed Valborg Lundegaard, who is stepping down to focus on her health and family.
- Lundegaard will serve as a senior advisor to Aker Carbon Capture going forward.
- Since 2021, Fagerland has been instrumental in the development and expansion of Aker Carbon Capture, the company said in a statement.
- The company has started the search for a new CFO in light of Fagerland's promotion to CEO. The interim CFO will be Petter Nats.
- Nats was a group chief controller at Aker Horizons before joining the company.
