CNSL - Alaska Communications Is Taken Private As A Fairly Priced Wireline Operator

• ATN International and Freedom 3 Capital LLC have reached an agreement with Alaska Communications Systems Group Inc. management to buy the company for $3.40 per share.
• The deal value equates to 5.1 times the annual adjusted EBITDA or 5.6 times the annual net cash from operations.
• These multiples are not so different from the current multiples of two peers, Consolidated Communication Holdings and Lumen.
• A fair price has been agreed for Alaska Communications and, at the same time, Consolidated Communications and Lumen are fairly valued by the market.
