Alcon ( NYSE: ALC ) said it had launched in Canada its Total30 for and Dailies Total1 for Astigmatism, a common vision problem.
This launch extends Alcon’s portfolio of reusable and daily disposable lenses designed for astigmatic patients.
People with astigmatism have an irregularly shaped cornea, as opposed to spherical, which can cause fuzzy, blurred vision and make images appear stretched, the company said .
