When I reported on Alfa Laval (ALFVF) (ALFVY) 1Q20, I indicated that 2Q20 would likely see actual coronavirus effects to YoY comparisons, leader to lower profitability, orders, and sales. As of 2Q20, this has now materialized. In that sense, beating expectations is really only another way of saying that profit wasn't "as bad as expected" but still in the red on a YoY basis.
