BIRD - Allbirds releases first golf shoe in response to customer interest

Allbirds ( NASDAQ: BIRD ) announced on Tuesday that it will sell a golf shoe for the first time.
The company noted a golf shoe has been a top customer request for a long time. 'When we saw our consumers adding spikes to their Allbirds sneakers, we knew it was time to get Golf Dashers on the green, stated co-CEO Tim Brown.
The Golf Dasher is made with natural materials that are said to offer a seriously comfortable option for afternoons on the course or in the clubhouse. The list price for the Golf Dasher shoe will be $145.
To celebrate the drop of the Golf Dasher, Allbirds ( BIRD ) is partnering with golf personality, broadcaster, and TV and podcast host, Will Lowery.
Shares of Allbirds ( BIRD ) fell 1.51% in early trading on Tuesday.
