ALGT - Allegiant reports fall in total system passengers and capacity for May

- Allegiant Travel ( NASDAQ: ALGT ) on Wednesday reported preliminary numbers for May that showed a fall in total system passengers and capacity.
- ALGT said total system passengers in May were 1.42M, a 3.3% Y/Y fall.
- Meanwhile, total system capacity or available seat miles, fell 1.6% Y/Y to 1.53B in May.
- Scheduled service revenue passenger miles fell 3% Y/Y to 1.27B in May.
- Scheduled service load factor came in at 85.9% for May compared to 86.6% a year ago.
- ALGT also said its May estimated average fuel cost per gallon was $2.58.
- Allegiant ( ALGT ) stock earlier closed +0.9% at $114.79.
