AB - AllianceBernstein AUM rises 2.2% in October on market appreciation

• AllianceBernstein Holding ( NYSE: AB ) on Wednesday said its preliminary assets under management rose 2.2% from the end of Sept. to $627B as of Oct. 31, driven by market appreciation.
• The company had reported an ~8% decrease in AUM at the end of Sept.
• AB said Oct.'s AUM increase was partially offset by net outflows in each channel.
• AB in late Oct. reported a decline in Q3 earnings and revenue.
