ALSN - Allison selected for US Army common tactical truck prototype vehicles
- Allison Transmission ( NYSE: ALSN ) announces that Allison’s 4000 Specialty Series transmissions are included in the U.S. Army’s Common Tactical Truck prototype vehicle phase.
- CTT, the newest tactical wheeled vehicle program, will begin replacing the U.S. Army’s aging fleet of heavy tactical wheeled vehicles.
- The Army selected four companies to each provide several different prototype vehicles to refine specifications as the program moves to vehicle testing in 2024 and initial production by 2027.
