ALPP - Alpine 4 Holdings acquires lithium/graphene battery manufacturer ElecJet
Alpine 4 Holdings (NASDAQ:ALPP) has entered the lithium/graphene battery manufacturing industry with its acquisition of ElecJet / Real Graphene (ElecJet). ElecJet and Real Graphene merged earlier this year. The deal combined the system/charging hardware of ElecJet with the graphene intellectual property of Real Graphene. The merged entity specializes in the design and manufacture of lithium/graphene battery, which is touted to have the potential to enhance all three primary battery cells currently used by EV manufacturers (18650, 21700, and 4680) in both power density and energy density. ElecJet will reside under Alpine's A4 Technologies, Inc., portfolio as both a Driver and Facilitator from its DSF business model. ElecJet and Alpine 4 are also exploring plans with the State of Indiana to transform its South Bend, Indiana facility into a U.S. battery production facility and bring graphene battery production to the nation.
