Amarin ( NASDAQ: AMRN ) announced on Monday the appointment of Aaron Berg as interim president and CEO, effective immediately.
Berg, who has more than 25 years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, currently serves as Amarin's executive vice president and president of the U.S. business.
The board is working to identify a permanent CEO.
In addition, the board has appointed Oliver O'Connor as a new independent director of the company.
