XLNX - AMD is said to have filed behavioral remedies for Xilinx acquisition in China

Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ:AMD) is said to have filed behavioral remedies for its planned purchase of Xilinx (NASDAQ:XLNX) to Chinese antitrust regulators. AMD offered a concession to China's State Administration for Market Regulation to offer a stable supply of some its products after the deal closes, according to an MLEX report. The disclosure comes after a report on Friday that the remedies that were submitted in China were said to see no major objections from 3rd parties in Chinese review. The report also indicated a greater probability of Xilinx being approved this month. Late last month, Xilinx ticks higher after AMD CEO reiterates close by end of year.
