XLNX - AMD launching new EPYC enterprise processors next week taking on Intel
Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) will launch its next-generation enterprise EPYC processor family in an online event on March 15 starting at 11 AM ET.The 7003 "Milan" processors are based on the Zen 3 architecture.Previous spec leaks have said the Milan family is built on 7nm process technology and will feature up to 64 Zen 3 cores.AMD's EPYC line is a competitor for Intel's (INTC) Xeon platform.AMD shares are up 3.3% pre-market.Press release.
