  • Ashworth will assume the role from current CEO Paul Kusserow on April 10, AMED said in a statement .
  • Kusserow will remain chairman of AMED's board and will have a continued strategic focus on Contessa Health.
  • According to AMED, Ashworth was previously president and CEO of Tivity Health, a provider of solutions for Medicare Advantage plans.
