AREC - American Resources stock soars on licensing patents in rare earth elements push

American Resources' shares surge ([[AREC]] +45.4%) after announcing that it has licensed ligand assisted displacement (LAD) chromatography patents and knowhow to further expand its capability in environmental friendly separation and purification of rare earth elements.The agreement will enable American Rare Earth LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Resources, to further develop and construct environmentally safer domestic supply chain of critical materials.Rare earth elements ((REE)) are essential ingredients for magnets, metal alloys, polishing powders, catalysts, ceramics, and phosphors, which are important for high-technology and clean energy applications.The global REE market is estimated at about $4B and growing at 8% per year.
