IAC - Angi jumps 12% IAC rises 5.6% after March metrics show gains
Angi (ANGI) has jumped 11.8% today after releasing its monthly metrics for March, where revenues jumped 31% year-over-year. The company notes there will be some volatility amid pandemic behavior - and by the by, it's now set to lap some confusing comparisons with the one-year anniversary of the arrival of the COVID-19 pandemic. In North America, Marketplace revenues were up 35% year-over-year while Advertising and other revenues grew 10%. And Angi's European revenues grew 61% from last March. In operating metrics, Marketplace service requests grew 60% and Marketplace monetized transactions jumped 47%. Transacting service professionals on Marketplace grew by 11%, and Advertising service professionals rose 6%. Parent IAC/InterActiveCorp (IAC) is 5.6% higher following the release of metrics.
