GRANDE PRAIRIE, ALBERTA – TheNewswire - (September 18, 2025): ANGKOR RESOURCESCORP. (TSXV: ANK) (“ANGKOR” OR “THE COMPANY”) proudlyannounces its continuing community development program with basicinfrastructure for transportation improvements.
Angkor has led community development across its multiple projectssince it first entered Cambodia, believing that collaboration withcommunities to jointly find solutions to their needs is instrumentalin advancing successful projects. Management believes that buildingtrust is a component of making communities stronger, and thatrelationship affects the economics of every project Angkor undertakes.
Angkor’s agreement with the Indigenous Communities covers listeningand collaborating for solutions in a variety of areas from education,water and sanitation, agricultural improvements, land use, numeracyand literacy, as well as infrastructure. Angkor is rarely asked forassistance on materials for infrastructure as the community generallycontributes what the members have access to in order to build out astructure. Like anywhere across waterways, bridges are an importantelement of infrastructure. In remote areas without access to steelbeams, communities stretch the resources within their network toensure their people have the ability to transport themselves and theirwares to market.

The communities asked for assistance with repairing and reinforcingthe bridge. They undertake the work, source the beams in the forestand cut, transport, and customize them at site. In this case, theplans were laid out by the community construction team and Angkor wasasked to contribute $200 towards steel components to help secure thestructure. As a foreign company, Angkor provides encouragement andparticipation to the community as they identify and create their ownsolutions to community issues. This model continues to position Angkorin a trusted role.

As well, Angkor continues to support teaching of English in the ruralcommunities. Because instruction takes place in the evening, andthe communities requested lighting for students, several solar lampswere provided by Angkor, installed and continue to provide necessaryillumination at primary points in the community in the evening.
