WLTW - AON's planned purchase of Willis Towers expected to be approved by EU in late June early July

Separately, CTFN reported that a lawyer on Aon's team has been part of the deal for last six months after news circulated yesterday about Dan Wall being being added to the Aon team. CFTN characterized Wall as acting as a "relief pitcher" if he needs to be used. The lawyer news yesterday had caused the WLTW/AON spread to widen as Wall is reportedly known as a trial a lawyer, which indicated some thought that Aon was preparing for a potential antitrust trial in the U.S. CTFN originally reported the EU timing story yesterday.
