RGA - Apollo and Reinsurance Group of America unit collaborate on $500M notes product

• Apollo Global Management ( APO ) announced Thursday an agreement to invest $500M into notes issued by an indirect subsidiary of Reinsurance Group of America, its second transaction RGA.
• The private equity firm said its affiliated insurance companies, third-party insurance managed accounts, and other institutional clients will invest in surplus notes issued by RGA indirect subsidiary Chesterfield Reinsurance Company.
• Apollo ( APO ) said the bespoke, high-grade investment solution leveraged its cross-platform expertise, including in insurance, insurance-linked securities, and multi-asset credit.
• On Wednesday, Apollo Global ( APO ) and Apeiron expanded their Italian investment partnership
