TOSBF - Apple Google execs testifying in Senate app store antitrust hearing

Google ([[GOOG]],[[GOOGL]]) and Apple (AAPL) execs will testify tomorrow in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee’s antitrust panel, addressing antitrust concerns surrounding their respective app stores.The hearing will include Google Government Affairs Senior Director Wilson White and Apple's Chief Compliance Officer Kyle Andeer. Also appearing: Spotify's Chief Legal Officer Horatio Gutierrez, Mach Group CLO Jared Sine, and Tile general counsel Kirsten Daru.Spotify and Match have both publicly criticized the app store policies of both tech giants. Tile, which creates Bluetooth-enabled tracking tags for small items, has taken issue with Apple and its plans to release a rival product.The hearing timing could be significant if Apple does release its Tile rival at today's "Spring Loaded" launch event with iPad updates the expected headliner.
