SPOT - Apple Music launches Spatial Audio with Dolby Atmos Lossless Audio
Apple (AAPL) Music is rolling out Spatial Audio with Dolby (DLB) Atmos to subscribers in June at no additional cost.Spatial Audio allows musicians to record for immersive experiences where the sound comes from all directions. The listening experience will be the default for compatible tracks played through AirPods or Beats headphones with the H1 or W1 chip.Apple Music subscribers will also gain access to more than 75M lossless audio tracks that "preserve every single bit of the original audio file." The lossless library will start with 20M tracks and build to the higher figure by the end of 2021.Lossess Audio is available at CD quality and High-Resolution.
