AUVI - Applied UV CEO James Alecxih resigns
Applied UV (NASDAQ:AUVI) has announced the resignation of CEO James Alecxih. Alecxih stepped down as CEO and a member of the company's Board of Directors due to personal reasons. The resignation comes days after he was appointed in the role. Max Munn, Founder, President of Applied UV and a Director on the Board, has been named interim CEO. In other news, the pathogen elimination technology company has completed an initial review of the operations, supply chain, manufacturing, new product development, logistics and distribution processes of its recently acquired businesses (Akida Holdings, Kes Science and Technology and Scientific Air Management). In an effort to maximize synergies amongst them, Applied UV's Denver operations will be relocated to Atlanta, Georgia (utilizing the Kes Science and Technology facility). Applied UV has also consolidated the operations of its recently acquired Scientific Air Management to the Kes Science Facility in Atlanta, Georgia.
