APYX - Apyx gets FDA nod for Renuvion APR Handpiece use after liposuction

• The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted 510(k) clearance to Apyx Medical's ( NASDAQ: APYX ) Renuvion APR Handpiece in procedures for coagulation of soft tissues following liposuction.
• Liposuction is a fat removal procedure.
• "We are thrilled to announce this newest clearance, making Renuvion the only device cleared to be used after liposuction procedures," said Todd Hornsby, executive vice president.
• The device is already cleared by the FDA to treat neck laxity, facial renewal procedures, and for contraction of soft tissue, according to the company.
