AETUF - ARC Resources Seven Generations merger creates top Montney shale operator

ARC Resources (AETUF) and Seven Generations Energy (SVRGF) announce an all-stock merger deal valued at C$8.1B (US$6.38B) that will create Canada's sixth-largest energy company.The combined company, which will retain ARC's name, will become the top producer in western Canada's Montney shale, with combined production expected to exceed 340K boe/day in 2021.It will become Canada's largest condensate producer, third-largest natural gas producer, and sixth-largest upstream energy company.Under the deal terms, Seven Generations shareholders will receive 1.108 ARC common shares for each Seven Generations common share; ARC shareholders will own 49% of the combined company and Seven Generations shareholders will own 51%.
