ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) announced that 60M treasury shares have been cancelled to keep the number of treasury shares within appropriate levels. The cancellation takes into account shares already purchased under the $1B share buyback announced on May 5, 2022. Post this, ArcelorMittal will have 877.8M shares in issue compared to 937.8M shares earlier.
