• Arch is transitioning towards becoming a pure-play metallurgical coal producer eventually.
• Its thermal coal assets may have no value, but its metallurgical coal assets could help it generate $300 million EBITDA by themselves with a moderate increase in met coal prices.
• Arch's Leer South longwall met coal operation is expected to start production in Q3 2021.
• Leer South may be able to produce up to 4 million tons of High-Vol A met coal per year, with a low cost structure.
