ARIS - Aris Water stock -11% after co says Q4 impacted by bad weather activity change inflation
- Shares of Aris Water Solutions ( NYSE: ARIS ) sank as much as 11% on Thursday after the company said its fourth quarter results were impacted by changes in customer activity and extreme winter weather in December.
- The company said it expects to report Q4 adjusted EBITDA of about $36 million, and $149 million for full year 2022, below its previously provided guidance.
- Aris also expects to report lower than anticipated skim oil revenue for the quarter, due to bad weather impact and continued inflationary pressures.
- “Challenging operational and weather conditions impacted our customers and, in turn, our own water volumes at the end of 2022,” CEO Amanda Brock said.
- "With the lower completions in the fourth quarter, we currently expect produced water volumes to be slightly lower sequentially for the first quarter of 2023, but still expect to continue to see meaningful growth for the full year of 2023," Brock added.
