AWI - Armstrong World Industries OKs $500M additional stock buyback declares dividend

• Armstrong World Industries ( NYSE: AWI ) has approved an additional $500 million stock buyback, the company said Wednesday.
• The company has now increased the total authorized amount under the repurchase program to $1.7 billion, and extended it through December 31, 2026.
• The board has also declared a cash dividend of $0.254 per share of common stock.
• The dividend will be paid on August 17, 2023, to shareholders on record as of the close of business on August 3, 2023.
