DNKN - As Tesla elbows into S&P 100 indexes set other shuffles; AIV -3.9%
With Tesla set to make its move into the S&P 500 (and the S&P 100) in one giant gulp Dec. 21, S&P Dow Jones Indices is setting up other changes for that day to balance up its indexes. Tesla is replacing Apartment Investment and Management (AIV) in the S&P 500, and it's replacing Occidental Petroleum (OXY) in the S&P 100. (Occidental will remain in the S&P 500.) After hours, [[AIV]] is -3.9% and [[OXY]] is -1.4%. Meanwhile, Apartment Investment and Management's spin-off, Apartment Income REIT (AIRC) will replace Dunkin' Brands Group (DNKN) in the S&P MidCap 400. Dunkin' is set to be acquired by Inspire Brands, and after its spin-off, Apartment Investment and Management will "no longer be of the S&P Composite 1500 indices market cap ranges." All moves are effective prior to the open on Dec. 21.
