China ( SHCOMP ) +0.48% . Investors continued to assess the economic outlook in China following news that the government has pledged to issue 1 trillion yuan in supplementary bonds for disaster relief and infrastructure enhancement efforts.

Hong Kong ( HSI ) -0.37% . Traders continued to assess the plan for a rise in fiscal deficit in China to boost GDP growth and the Hong Kong government’s plan to cut stamp duty for property buyers in Hong Kong.

India ( SENSEX ) -1.31% .

Australia ( AS51 ) -0.61% . Australian Q3 Export prices -3.1% q/q (prior -8.5%)& Import prices +0.8% q/q (prior -0.8%).

In the U.S. on Wednesday, all three major indexes ended sharply lower amid disappointing earning reports and rising Treasury yields.

U.S. stock futures extended losses on Thursday following a sharp selloff during Wednesday’s regular session: Dow -0.20%; S&P 500 -0.64% ; Nasdaq -1.08% .

Investors turned cautious ahead of the European Central Bank’s policy decision, where it is expected to keep interest rates unchanged following 15 consecutive months of hikes.

Investors also cautiously awaited US GDP and inflation figures this week that could influence the monetary policy outlook.
