In the U.S. on Wednesday, all three major indexes ended higher for the third consecutive day this week amid easing Treasury yields after the Fed kept the interest rate steady for the second consecutive time.

The Fed kept rates steady for the second time, but Fed Chair Jerome Powell emphasized that the primary focus remains on whether the central bank will need to implement additional hikes.

U.S. stock futures edged higher on Thursday after the major averages rallied in the last session: Dow +0.06% ; S&P 500 +0.15% ; Nasdaq +0.32% .

Traders look forward to BOE, the main event on the agenda in the session ahead .
