ATAI - Atai Life Sciences' philanthropic program launches fund for psychedelic research

atai Impact, the recently established philanthropic program of German pharma company, atai Life Sciences (NASDAQ:ATAI), announced a collaboration with Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). In partnership with the Center for the Neuroscience of Psychedelics of MGH, atai Impact has launched its first initiative, the $2M atai Fellowship Fund in Psychedelic Neuroscience. atai Impact was launched to improve education and access to mental health care with an initial focus on psychedelics. The partnership builds on the existing collaboration between atai Life Sciences and the Center for Neuroscience of Psychedelics, as announced in Jan. 2021, atai Impact said. “We are very proud to kick off the atai Impact initiatives with such an important contribution to drive robust psychedelic medicine research and to do so with the eminent team at Massachusetts General Hospital,” Atai’s (ATAI) CEO Florian Brand noted.
