ATHN - Athena Technology stockholders approve business combination with Heliogen

Athena Technology Acquisition (NYSE:ATHN) stockholders approved the company's previously announced business combination with Heliogen. More than 91% of the votes cast at a special meeting were in favor of the approval of the business combination. The business combination is expected to close on Dec. 30. Following the closing, the combined company will be renamed Heliogen Inc. and its common stock and warrants are expected to begin trading on the NYSE under the symbols “HLGN” and “HLGNW,” respectively, on Dec. 31.
