Atlantic Power (AT) agrees to be acquired by I Squared Capital, a leading global infrastructure investor.Accordingly, I Squared Capital will acquire Atlantic's outstanding common shares and convertible debentures and the outstanding preferred shares and medium-term notes of certain of its subsidiaries.The total EV of the deal is ~$961M and the transaction was unanimously approved by Atlantic Power's board of directors.The shareholders to receive $3.03 per share in cash, representing ~44% premium to its last closing share price of $2.10 (Jan. 15, 2021).Shares +35% premarket.
