ATCO - Atlas' subsidiary Seaspan launches $175M debt offering

Seaspan Corporation ((SSWN)), a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas (ATCO) to issue $175M of exchangeable senior unsecured notes due 2025 in a private placement.Initial purchasers granted an option to purchase up to an additional $26.25M of notes. Interest on the notes will be payable semiannually in arrears. Seaspan intends to use a portion of the net proceeds to pay the net cost of the capped call transactions and the remainder for general corporate purposes.
