ATCO - Atlas' subsidiary Seaspan prices $175M exchangeable debt offering

Seaspan Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Atlas ([[ATCO]] -1.0%) has priced $175M of 3.75% exchangeable senior unsecured notes due December 15, 2025 in a private placement.Initial purchasers granted an option to purchase up to an additional $26.25M of notes.Offering is expected to close on December 21. Interest will be payable semiannually in arrears on June 15 and December 15 of each year, beginning on June 15, 2021.Seaspan intends to use a portion of the ~$170.4M of net proceeds (or ~$196M if the initial purchasers exercise their option) to pay the net cost of the capped call transactions and the remainder for general corporate purposes.
