ATNI - ATN International to buy Alaska Communications for $3.40 per share

ATN International (ATNI) has agreed to acquire Alaska Communications Systems (ALSK) in an all cash transaction valued at ~$332.0M, including outstanding net debt.ATN and financial partner Freedom 3 Capital, created a newly formed entity that has entered agreement to acquire all the outstanding shares of Alaska Communications common stock for $3.40 per share in cash.The transaction will result in ALSK becoming a privately held company and is expected to close in the 2H21.TAR Holdings, LLC, which owns ~8.8% of the outstanding shares of ALSK common stock, to vote in favor of the merger.Shares of ALSK -9% premarket.
