AEYE - AudioEYE (AEYE) stock gains over ticker confusion with Lidar specialist Aeye

SPAC CF Finance Acquisition Corp. III (CFAC) gained 2.3% in premarket trading after its sponsor's founder Cantor's Howard Lutnick promoted Lidar specialist Aeye in a CNBC interview.Yesterday, AEye announce it was merging with CF Finance Acquisition. The combined company will be called AEye Holdings and is expected to be listed on the Nasdaq.AudioEYE (AEYE) is also up 2.8% in premarket trading and it may be partly due to some confusion with the lidar company Aeye as is being discussed on Stocktwits. People seem to think that Lutnick was talking about ticker AEYE, though the companies are different.Recall Dec. 16, AudioEye guides FY2021 revenue above consensus.
