AUPH - Aurinia Pharma gains after CEO comments on sales outlook
Aurinia Pharmaceuticals (AUPH +4.4%) is trading higher after its Chief Executive Officer Peter Greenleaf hinted at strong sales for the company as the management prepares to release the financials for Q4 2021 at the end of February. Canada-based Aurinia (NASDAQ:AUPH) markets LUPKYNIS, and FDA-approved treatment for adult patients with active lupus nephritis. Speaking at the Annual Leerink Global Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, Greenleaf noted that "aggressive numbers will come from us," a comment picked by social media and later drove Aurinia (AUPH) shares higher in the morning hours. The company expects to release its Q4 and full-year financials for 2021 on Feb. 28 before the market opens.
