The Judo Bank Flash Australia Manufacturing PMI fell to 48.7 from prior month reading of 49.6, but higher than the September Flash PMI print of 48.2.
A sharper fall in new orders, mild reduction in output, purchasing activity and inventory levels partially offset by rise in employment levels led to seventh consecutive month of decline.
