WLTW - Australian review of Aon's planned Willis Towers deal delayed
Australia's review of Aon's (AON) planned purchase of Willis Towers (WLTW) has been delayed as the regulator needs more information from the parties, according to a filing on the agency's website. The deadline to complete the Australian regulator's review had been May 27. The ACCC will announce a proposed decision date in "due course."In February, the Australian antitrust agency said it had concerns with Aon's Willis Towers deal. Last week it was reported that AON's concessions may not be enough for EU approval for Willis Towers deal.Earlier this week it was reported that that DOJ is said to demand U.S. and Bermudian disposals to approve Aon's Willis Towers deal.
