Avantis International Small Cap Value ETF
Until recently, AVDV was the only ETF focused on International Small-Cap Value stocks. In March, iShares started an index-based ETF in this segment. AVDV only started in September 2019.
Like in the US, Small-Cap stocks have provided superior results long term. International Value stocks have performed slightly better than the average International stock.
I'm Neutral on AVDV but I like actively managed Small-Cap ETFs versus ones tied to an index. I think expanding eligible countries would improve this ETF.
