And to my non-American readers around the globe, I know this isn’t a holiday you celebrate. But I hope it’s full of fireworks for you all the same – fireworks of the safest and most profitable kind, of course.

I had to add that clarification since, contrary to some people’s belief, fireworks aren’t children’s play. When handled correctly, they’re attention-grabbing and awe-inspiring and, let’s face it, just downright fun to watch! And yes, little kids (and their big-kid counterparts)
