AZTA - Azenta to acquire vaccine cold chain firm B Medical Systems for Euro410M
- Azenta ( NASDAQ: AZTA ) said Monday it will acquire B Medical Systems , a Luxembourg-based vaccine cold chain provider, for ~€410M in cash.
- Up to €50M may be paid on achieving certain performance targets.
- The deal is expected to be accretive to AZTA's adj. earnings in FY23 and accretive to GAAP earnings in FY24.
- The acquisition complements AZTA's cold chain capabilities, adding differentiated solutions for reliable transport of temperature-sensitive specimens.
- B Medical CEO Luc Provost and deputy CEO Jesal Doshi will join AZTA and continue to lead the business.
- The deal is expected to close in Oct.
