BAE Systems ( OTCPK:BAESY ) ( OTCPK:BAESF ) received orders from the U.K. government to increase production of weapons amid a worldwide shortage as Ukraine fights to expel Russian forces, the Financial Times reported on Monday.
The 280-million-pound ($359.9 million) deal may increase in value to more than 400 million pounds. The goal is to increase output of 155-millimeter artillery shells eight-fold, the newspaper reported.
