BXS - BancorpSouth announces 2021 share repurchase program

BancorpSouth Bank (BXS) authorizes a new share repurchase program allowing the company to purchase up to an aggregate of 6M shares of common stock. This new share repurchase program will be effective on January 4, 2021 and will expire on December 31, 2021. Already purchased 3.3M shares of the 8M total shares authorized for repurchase. The bank may (or may not) repurchase some portion of the remaining 4.7M shares under the current share repurchase program on or prior to December 31, 2020.
