CGBD - Bargain Basement Shopping In The BDC Sector

• The valuation range of the BDC sector is as wide as it has been in recent history with valuation "winners" trading at sky-high levels.
• And although companies trading at the lower end of the valuation range do carry some risks, their risk and historic return profiles are unusually different.
• We take a brief look at AINV, CGBD and PNNT - three of the lower valuation BDCs.
• In the trio, we like both CGBD and PNNT with the latter being somewhat more speculative due to its higher equity allocation.
