BBDC - Barings BDC appoints Elizabeth Murray as chief financial officer

- Barings BDC ( NYSE: BBDC ) said that Elizabeth Murray has been appointed as the investment company's new finance chief and will succeed Jonathan Landsberg, who stepped down at the close of business on Tuesday to pursue business opportunities elsewhere, according to an SEC filing.
- In addition to her new role, Murray, 45, will continue to serve as Barings' ( BBDC ) chief operating officer and chief accounting officer.
- Murray also serves as CFO and principal accounting officer of Barings Capital Investment and as CFO and principal accounting officer of Barings Private Credit. She previously was the director of external reporting for the company.
- In February, Barings BDC posted stronger-than-expected top and bottom lines for the fourth quarter.
