Over the first six months of this year, base metals were 6.58% lower. The best performing commodity in the base metals sector in Q2 was LME copper, which rose 25.61%. COMEX copper was 21.79% higher for the quarter, and the nearby COMEX futures contract fell 20.34%. Tin moved 16.83% higher during the quarter, while the price of nickel gained
