Battery MineralResources Corp. (TSXV: BMR) (OTCQB: BTRMF) (“ Battery ” or“ BMR ” or the “ Company ”) announces that it haschanged its auditors from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, CharteredProfessional Accountants (“PwC” or the “Former Auditor”) toGrant Thornton LLP, Chartered Professional Accountants (“GrantThornton” or the “Successor Auditor”). At the request of theCompany, the Former Auditor resigned as the auditor of the Company andthe Board of Directors of the Company appointed the Successor Auditoras the Company’s auditor in each case effective as of December 6,2022.
There wereno reservations or modified opinions in the Former Auditor’s reportson the Company’s financial statements during the period that theFormer Auditor acted as the Company’s auditor. In addition, thereare no reportable events, including disagreements, consultations orunresolved issues (as defined in National Instrument 51-102 –Continuous Disclosure Obligations (“NI 51-102”)) between theCompany and the Former Auditor.
In accordance with NI 51-102, the notice of changeof auditor, together with the required letters from the Former Auditorand the Successor Auditor, have been reviewed by the Board ofDirectors of the Company and filed on SEDAR.
